I found two problems in the nextgen version: I do not find how to edit an existing lot detail. And if I instead of editing it delete the whole symbol I cannot re-add it. The error message says "this symbol is already in this portfolio" - even if it is not in the list.

If this is the next generation, I wish I had avoided paying money for it (which I only did because of a threat that my current version would cease to work very soon). It is very rare to see something done so badly - importing data from a previous version is good but to only do it up to sometime in 2012 and then insert erroneous information so that that many of the values produced are very inaccurate - about a 20% error on the total value of my portfolio for example. Very depressing and I’d advice anyone to certainly not purchase this version until it is fixed.

Does not transfer your previous settings. I have wasted an hour. Stick to the older version.

I should have read the other reviews before paying and switching to the new Stockwatch. Switching over has completely screwed up the tracking of my portfolio. When I imported the data from the old Stockwatch, I got data that was months out of date. I have been unable to make the corrections because it says I still track stocks that I have deleted. This has been a completely disappointing upgrade. I have deleted the old Stockwatch, so I cant go back. To top it all off I cant even get my $2.99 back. My recommendation is to stay with the old. Avoid upgrading. Complain if you have already upgraded and the software is not working properly.

Nope youre still doing it wrong. App wont recover old data so officially the biggest waste of money.

App still doesnt import from old version so I cant tell you how this version is old version was excellent

App works well. Some functions (such as data transfer from old version) require In-App Purchases ON in the Device Settings (General->Restrictions->In-App Purchases ON). Remember to restart the App when the feature is enabled.

A major disappointment! Upgraded from the previous version, which worked ok except that you couldnt track sells properly. New version failed to import old data, so all my lot purchases over the past two years would have to be entered manually - not worth the hassle. Also, the new program keeps crashing unexpectedly and is anything but intuitive to figure out. Took me ages to work out how to add a stock and then add shares to it. Bottom line? I wasted my money, and my time and effort.

The previous applicaton was working perfectlt but since "next gen" pretty much everthing is wrong. The import does not work , the 4 decimal does not work it rounds up at 3 decimals even if you select 4 decimals, the average PPS does not work properly, if you select a main currency other then US the application convert from US to the main currency you selected which is wrong. I went back using the old version on my iphone instead of using the next gen on my Ipad.

It is just another app with some features, but completely useless for a trader who trades frequently and wants to get quick view of his positions every day. - there is no charts to depict portfolio performance as a whole. - there is no way to do technical analysis on the charts except for those phony yahoo charts with limited abilities. - etc... etc... Dont waste your money, look for another app, thats what I am unfortunately doing once again...

Nextgen has been crap for me. Symbols dont refresh and are 2 or 3 days old, and have different prices in different portfolios. Ive contacted support but they didnt reply, so its No use to me. Running IOS 7 so should work

I like many of the new enhancements and the new look. Unfortunately, the most important feature doesnt work...the stock prices take forever to update! I cant trust it. The Apple default app on iPhone is many times faster. The "old gen" of this app was much faster too. Sorry.

This one is a money-grab... Stick with the previous edition. I could read the newspaper for faster price updates.

2 emails to support and no response in weeks. The app cannot seem to correctly calculate average price per share and hence the total portfolio value is incorrect...a real shame about the lack of support because this app has a lot of potential to be outstanding

Like the new interface, seems fewer crashes than previous version. Use for CAN, USA, UK and AU portfolios and works well and now can have in one currency. Sync between iPad / iPhone also improved in the NG version.

Results match what my brokerage account says. Great prompt support.

This app is the best app for tracking my portfolio that Ive used so far! Its simply excellent. Its fast, even on my old iPhone 4s, it syncs everything between my iPhone and iPad, it has a slick UI, and just about all the info about my stocks I could want. Worth every penny!

Recent version is better in updates (they are delayed quotes). For me, there are still two problems: 1/ the app occasionally fall into background w/I warning (it does not crash), 2/ alerts are limited to 5 only. I believe this is a serious limitation that must be addressed immediately. There should be no reason to limit alerts to 5.

Used the previous version lots and it was great. This next generation version is very slow to update and occasionally crashes. I would not recommend that anyone spend money for this app.

The app works very well, and makes it quite easy to see how the investments are doing. Selling and currency are great adds! Keep up the great work!
