StockWatch uses Yahoo! Finance symbol structure for quotes. When you search for a symbol, you may need to add the correct suffix (.AX, .L, etc.). Data is delayed at least 15 minutes.

StockWatch - Portfolio Tracking & Stock Quotes app good for

App works well. Some functions (such as data transfer from old version) require In-App Purchases ON in the Device Settings (General->Restrictions->In-App Purchases ON). Remember to restart the App when the feature is enabled.
Like the new interface, seems fewer crashes than previous version. Use for CAN, USA, UK and AU portfolios and works well and now can have in one currency. Sync between iPad / iPhone also improved in the NG version.
Results match what my brokerage account says. Great prompt support.
This app is the best app for tracking my portfolio that Ive used so far! Its simply excellent. Its fast, even on my old iPhone 4s, it syncs everything between my iPhone and iPad, it has a slick UI, and just about all the info about my stocks I could want. Worth every penny!
The app works very well, and makes it quite easy to see how the investments are doing. Selling and currency are great adds! Keep up the great work!
Like it for the ease of use. Would like to be able to track options and dividends. But good for a basic stock tracker.

Some bad moments

If this is the next generation, I wish I had avoided paying money for it (which I only did because of a threat that my current version would cease to work very soon). It is very rare to see something done so badly - importing data from a previous version is good but to only do it up to sometime in 2012 and then insert erroneous information so that that many of the values produced are very inaccurate - about a 20% error on the total value of my portfolio for example. Very depressing and I’d advice anyone to certainly not purchase this version until it is fixed.
Does not transfer your previous settings. I have wasted an hour. Stick to the older version.
I should have read the other reviews before paying and switching to the new Stockwatch. Switching over has completely screwed up the tracking of my portfolio. When I imported the data from the old Stockwatch, I got data that was months out of date. I have been unable to make the corrections because it says I still track stocks that I have deleted. This has been a completely disappointing upgrade. I have deleted the old Stockwatch, so I cant go back. To top it all off I cant even get my $2.99 back. My recommendation is to stay with the old. Avoid upgrading. Complain if you have already upgraded and the software is not working properly.
Nope youre still doing it wrong. App wont recover old data so officially the biggest waste of money.
App still doesnt import from old version so I cant tell you how this version is old version was excellent
A major disappointment! Upgraded from the previous version, which worked ok except that you couldnt track sells properly. New version failed to import old data, so all my lot purchases over the past two years would have to be entered manually - not worth the hassle. Also, the new program keeps crashing unexpectedly and is anything but intuitive to figure out. Took me ages to work out how to add a stock and then add shares to it. Bottom line? I wasted my money, and my time and effort.
